Quincy Spring Shoot 2013

For the first time, we had a Spring Shoot in Quincy.

The builders’ product was phenomenal! The 1.4g guys donated a huge amount out of pocket and that was a great shoot. The folks who did so much for food, that was awesome. The set up and cleanup folks, you guys rock! To everyone who made it, there’s no club without the members; and we have some mighty fine ones.

Below is a video of The Big Shells, a set of three 12″ shells and a 16″, fired at the event.

Spring Shoot 2013

The NPA returned “home” to gather for our annual business meeting followed by the Ferndale Spring Shoot.

The business meeting went really well. We got all of our issues out in the open, and we had very good discussions on all topics. It’s incredible how many intelligent and experienced people we have in this club. And I’m impressed at how much our members have stepped up to make this club happen. It really is a privilege to be in this club. I can’t say that enough. Thank you all for all you do.

This year featured an exciting assortment of set pieces: an NPA set piece, a wheel of awesome, an uber tank, and as always the tower of terror. Please enjoy this enjoy taken by one of our members.

Spring Shoot 2012

This shoot, as many others have said, always feels like home. A huge THANK YOU goes out to Steve and his family for hosting this event. The new site layout is great, and it was good to see everyone again. Now, on to the festivities!

First, the daytime boards and firecrackers were very fun. I think we’re going to start giving the night show a run for its money soon 🙂

Up next, the epic tank battle! The tanks were crazy this year. I don’t think anyone was expecting the amount of complexity and variety these tanks were built with. Excellent job guys!

We can’t forget the Tower of Terror. This year, through unforseen circumstances, we were treated to two towers of terror! Yes, two 🙂 And both of them lived up to the name.

Finally we have the night show, spectacular as always. There was the traditional Saturn Missile board from Mindset, a very nice variety of 1.4G product boards, and a fun new gas mine this year 🙂
